The Only Issue That Matters On Election Day Is Freedom
The media keeps trying to distract and project about the 2023 election, but the dominant issue in every high profile race is freedom.

The Theory Of The Case Is Freedom
Republicans and the media both have the same habit of trying to nationalize local and state elections. Republicans have looked at the polls and determined that they should connect every Democratic candidate to Joe Biden. The media if Democrats do poorly will start speculating about what the results mean for the 2024 presidential election.
The answer to that question is that whatever happens in 2023 means nothing for 2024. People don’t make their choices in local and state elections based on who the president is.
The 2023 election is about issues that are bigger than Joe Biden. The Mississippi governor’s race features a welfare fraud corruption scandal that in any larger state would have consistently gotten massive media attention. In Ohio, adding abortion rights to the state’s constitution is a big issue. An abortion ban is also the major issue in the Kentucky contest for governor, and the battle for control of the Virginia legislature is centered on Gov. Glenn Younkin’s desire to pass an abortion ban.
Since the Dobbs decision, voters who care about freedom and choice have shown up to cast their ballots. Reproductive rights are why the red wave never came in 2022.
The issue of personal freedom over something as vital as control over your own body outweighs any noise that is going on in polling.
After the 2016 election, many Democratic voters seem to have learned that every election counts, and that showing up every four years was not good enough.
If some voters didn’t get the message in 2016, they got it after the Dobbs decision, and it will be the fuel for another strong Democratic performance in 2023.
The media consistently dismisses the concerns of voters, and we’ll talk about why below.
