When House Oversight Committee Democrats won a surprise committee vote to order the DOJ to release the Epstein files, it was inevitable that committee chair James Comer (R-KY) would use the pretense of investigation to try to cover-up for Donald Trump.

The mainstream media made a big deal about the DOJ starting to turn over Epstein documents to the Oversight Committee, but as usual the corporate press was carrying water for Donald Trump and didn’t both to dig deeper to see what was really happening.

Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) announced on MSNBC what it was that the DOJ actually turned over to Congress.

Video:

Rep. Khanna said on MSNBC, “We now have a fact that only 3% of the documents that were given to us were new. 97% were already in the public domain, and less than 1% of the Epstein files have actually been released. The Epstein files. Are 300 GB. We know this because that's what the FBI has said, and they've released less than one gigabyte. So they've released less than 1%. And of the less than 1% they've released, 97% is still in the public record. Bottom line, they're stonewalling and not releasing things.”

Khanna also said that the DOJ hasn’t said when they will release more documents, “They have not. And their strategy is let's just have a drip, drip, drip. And hope this issue goes away. I mean, you remember the speaker shut down the entire Congress because he didn't want to vote on Massie's and my bill to release all the files. He was hoping. That the subpoena goes away, so they're they're just going to keep delaying.”

The DOJ is trying to stall, and the question that everyone should be asking is why?
