The Daily Mail “were pro-Hilter back in the day!”
White House Press Secretary Katie Zacharia claimed that the Daily Mail isn’t conservative, causing LBC presenter James O’Brien to exclaim in disbelief that they “were pro-Hilter back in the day!”
Zacharia tried to address the critique she received over only taking questions from conservative outlets by claiming that wasn’t true, because according to the non-lawyer, the Daily Mail isn’t conservative.
Watch here:
Zacharia on Fox News: I think it’s been mixed, Sean, because they’ve said I only took questions from conservative outlets. However, the Daily Mail is not known to be a conservative outlet or friendly to conservatives, so I do challenge that narrative.
O’Brien on LBC: I mean, for a start, everyone at the Daily Mail is going to be furious. How dare she say we're not right wing? For goodness' sake, what more do we have to do?
We were pro-Hitler back in the day. We were in favor of Oswald Mosley and the Black Shots. You know, in a way, she's right. That compared, as Simon Marx would frequently remind us, compared to the propaganda networks, the far-right propaganda networks that now get pretty much the only passes into the into the press briefings, the Daily Mail looks a little bit like I don't know Das Kapital.
The Daily Mail is literally a conservative outlet. “The Daily Mail, often known simply as the Mail, is a British daily middle-market tabloid-size conservative newspaper founded in 1896 and published in London,” Wikipedia writes (although Wiki gets a lot wrong, they are not wrong about this).
Is there no pile of lies this woman won’t step in to expose?
