The Media Has Bungled The Midterm Election Coverage

After twists and turns, ups and downs, and with no one having any idea what is going to happen, we have arrived at election eve 2022.

The one thought that keeps going through my mind is how badly our media has bungled the election coverage. With healthcare rights for women and democracy in the balance, the media in the United States has chosen to cover this election as a normal midterm.

Of course, normalization of the abnormal is what US corporate media does best. No one will ever forget the corporate media tripping over themselves to declare various moments the moment that Trump became presidential. As Trump entered the fourth year of his term, there were some corporate media outlets that were declaring that COVID would finally make a president out of Trump.

COVID didn’t make a president out of Trump.

MSNBC will be airing an election preview show at 8 PM ET.

What exactly are they going to preview?

They will talk a lot about who is winning…
