What Happens When Dumb People Abuse Impeachment For The Worst Reasons?
House Oversight Committee Chair Rep. James Comer (R-KY) tweeted, “$260k from China was wired to Hunter Biden with Joe Biden's Delaware home listed as the beneficiary address. Beijing cash was basically wired right to Joe's front door. Why did POTUS lie and say his family never received money from China? Americans deserve to know.”
Rep. Eric Swalwell replied, “Does this moron know a wire transfer is not a physical cash delivery to an address? We are dealing with the dumbest people who walk this Earth.”
The same House Republicans who refuse to understand that they don’t have the power to demand policy changes to avoid a government shutdown because they only control one-half of one-third of the federal government are trying to use a process that was constitutionally intended for high crimes to gain partisan political points ahead of a presidential election.
The current MAGA caucus that is running the House of Representatives could be the most intellectually challenged faction to hold power in Congress in hundreds of years.
America has never been put in a position where a partisan House majority has decided to launch an impeachment investigation without having any proof of wrongdoing by the president.
The first impeachment hearing is supposed to focus on the constitutional and legal questions surrounding the Republican Biden bribery conspiracy theory.
A better constitutional question would be why isn’t there a punishment involved for members of Congress that abuse their impeachment power?
