State and federal officials are setting the stage for criminal accountability for Trump’s regime, including his ICE thugs.

ICE/DHS/Federal Agents Acting Unlawfully

After hackers got the names and addresses of a lot of federal employees, including DHS and ICE, we discussed how this could be used to hold agents accountable for their actions, even as they hide under masks and change out their license plates (illegally).

New York Attorney General Letitia James announced that she’s launched a government portal for videos and images of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Agents who may have committed crimes.

The website reads: “Please use this form to share information regarding federal government action in New York state.

Filing a complaint does not start a lawsuit on your behalf. The Attorney General cannot give legal advice or represent individual complainants in court. For questions on your legal rights or responsibilities, please contact a private lawyer.”

It has the capacity to upload images and videos supporting the reporter’s claims. All of this evidence can be used to prosecute allegedly unlawful actions by federal agents.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) addressed ICE’s attacks on Canal Street in New York during in an Instagram story shared on Thursday, saying that ICE doesn’t have legitimacy, because they are acting illegally. She pointed out that they don’t have the consent of the people and they are not imposing law and order; rather, they are imposing disorder and disruption.

After multiple videos showing ICE agents saying, “You an film all you want, we change these plates out every day” on top of video of agents actually changing their plates, Illinois Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias launched a reporting hotline at (312) 814-1730.

ICE Accountability Act

Two days ago, former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot and other attorneys launched the “ICE Accountability Project” to document and track Federal Immigration Agents’ alleged illegal actions during Operation Midway Blitz.in Chicago, seeking the agents’ height, weight, hair color, masks, insignia, cars, shoes and more in order to put a profile together of each of these agents.

Lighthouse pointed out in a Chicago Report interview that this is not “doxxing” as the Trump administration likes to claim it is, because they are on public property and we have a right to document what they’re doing.

“This is not about doxxing them, this is not about putting them in danger. But as residents of this city, we have a right to know who is doing what supposedly in our name. We believe they are committing crimes and it needs to be investigated and let a grand jury, let the prosecutor make a determination.”

That didn’t stop Trump’s AG Pam Bondi from threatening Lighthouse the next day, though, because anything that sniffs of demands for lawful behavior and/or accountability seems to trigger convicted felon Trump’s regime operators.

Federal:

House Oversight Committee Democrats, led by Ranking Member Robert Garcia, are launching a “Master ICE Tracker” to monitor misconduct and civil rights violations by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents. It was announced on October 22, 2025, following reports that more than 170 U.S. citizens had been unlawfully detained by the Department of Homeland Security.

Responding to criticism by the Trump regime, Garcia told NPR, “Well, first, to be clear, this is a misconduct tracker that documents civil rights violations by the administration. Yeah. It includes, you know, cases where ICE has detained U.S. citizens, of course. This is not a live location tracker. This is not putting officers at risk. We’re publishing records after the fact to expose any patterns of misconduct. And so it’s - this is not tracking anyone or putting out officers’ names. This is about documenting something that’s already happened. So they’re creating a fake controversy.”
