Senate Democrats Are Going To Make Republicans Own Trump's War Every Single Week
For the fourth time Senate Democrats forced Republicans to support Trump's unpopular Iran war, and this is only the beginning of a strategy to make Republicans own this war every week.
Democrats in Congress have a way of making strategy way too complicated. Democrats come up with a lot of good ideas, but anytime a Democrat has to spend more than a sentence or two explaining what they are doing, the odds are that they won’t connect well with the American people.

On Wednesday, Senate Republicans blocked the advancement of an Iran War Powers resolution to force Trump to end the war.
Senate Republicans have blocked a War Powers Resolution on Iran four times in the last 47 days.
Here are the votes:
On March 4th, Republicans blocked Senator Kaine’s (D-VA) resolution 47-53.
On March 18th, Republicans blocked Senator Booker’s (D-NJ) resolution 47-53.
On March 24th, Republicans blocked Senator Murphy’s (D-CT) resolution 47-53.
Today, April 15th, Republicans blocked Senator Duckworth’s (D-IL) resolution 47-52
The votes have been the same each time. Democratic Sen. John Fetterman votes with the Republicans, and Republican Senator Rand Paul votes with the Democrats. Republicans had one absence, which is why the GOP vote share went down by one vote.
People might be wondering why Democrats are forcing these votes.
The answer is that they want to make sure that voters know that Republicans own this war.
