As many of us slept, the Trump drama went into overdrive as the Department of Justice and attorneys for Trump filed dueling motions over Beryl Howell's grant of a crime-fraud exception to attorney-client privilege regarding his attorney Evan Corcoran’s testimony.
At stake are tapes and emails and more, as Judge Howell ordered Trump’s lawyer to turn over materials including “transcriptions of personal audio recordings.”
Why would tapes and emails and notes pertain to a Trump lawyer? Well, you see…
“It appears that Corcoran took notes & maybe RECORDED Trump, his client (sense a pattern of mistrust by Trump lawyers?). If doc or taped evid shows Trump knows the subpoena is false, that is killer,” Harry Litman wrote on Twitter.
