Republicans Won’t Help Americans with Costs

Republicans are running on “trans sports” fearmongering, “Muslim Brotherhood” accusations, and sexism — none of which will address the cost of living. When asked about high costs, they blame Biden.

Republicans have no plan to address costs.

They can’t address costs because they are directly responsible for the rising cost of living. So instead, they’re pivoting to their holy trinity of culture war issues.

Republicans Are Trans Obsessed

There’s trouble for a Republican in Alabama.

Republican state lawmaker Rhett Marques (running against Rep. Shomari Figures whom Republicans gerrymandered out of his district as part of their assault on voting rights) was endorsed by Donald Trump yet “is drawing attention as another sign of potential trouble for Republicans as they try to hold their majorities in Congress,” the AP reported Saturday morning.

What is the Republican running on? He’s running on restrictions on transgender athletes' participation and gender-affirming care for minors, school “choice”, and law enforcement.

None of which addresses the cost of living.

He emphasizes his legislative record, which includes support for school choice, law enforcement and restrictions on transgender athletes’ participation in girls sports and gender-affirming care for minors. Marques said he is more aligned with “the Alabama values in this district.”

The Republican only addresses the cost of living by blaming former President Joe Biden for the exacerbation of the cost of living crisis directly attributed to Trump’s policies.

He acknowledged voter concerns about affordability, but put the blame on Democratic President Joe Biden’s administration.

Republicans Are Using Racism

In Michigan, Republican nominee Mike Rogers is running on racism against Democratic nominee Abdul El-Sayed, with Rogers and surrogates including Trump, accusing **without evidence** El-Sayed of having ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and other organizations.

Rogers’ supporters claim this isn’t racism, but rather a national security issue. Yet, for some reason, they support ongoing national security threat Donald Trump.
