The Republican Fascist Congressional Implosion
The day started with the news that Kevin McCarthy assaulted one of the House Republicans who voted to boot him out of the speakership in a hallway.
Rep. Tim Burchett was elbowed in the kidney by former speaker Kevin McCarthy. McCarthy denied the elbow, but a reporter from NPR witnessed the whole scene.

House Republicans have devolved into violence against their own members, including a former Speaker recently ousted, shoving a Republican Representative after the GOP conference meeting.
