A Sane Political Party Would Jettison Someone Facing More Than 30 Charges

The largest point that stands out about the Republican reaction to Trump’s indictment is how dysfunctional it is. A normal political party would try to distance itself from a figure who could potentially bring so much shame and disgrace to everyone in the party.

A normal political party would be thinking: ‘If we keep this guy around, we are going to lose more elections, and he will take us all down.’
