Republicans Are Begging Trump To Extend Obamacare Subsidies Before A Blue Wave Wipes Them Out
Desperate Senate Republicans are trying to convince Trump to support an extension of Obamacare subsidies because an angry wave of voters is coming to get them.
Democrats have been telling Republicans for months that Obamacare subsidies had to be extended or there would be dire consequences for the American people if health insurance premiums skyrocketed.
Republicans were not moved by the idea that 4 million Americans could lose their health insurance coverage, and that would lead to an additional 50,000 deaths per year. The GOP celebrated “winning” the government shutdown and getting to raise health insurance costs for 24 million Americans.

The problem is that Republicans are being led by a president who is term-limited and doesn’t have to face the voters again, so he doesn’t care how bad the polls look for members of his party.
The divide between Republicans who want to keep their jobs and a president who isn’t willing to help them showed up during the Epstein files vote, but on the Obamacare subsidies, Republicans need Trump’s help, and they are getting desperate.
