They know that their base of MAGAts are not smart enough to remember that they are the ones who wrote the Medicaid cuts into the bill and they are the ones who passed it. It seems the Ministry of Truth is having trouble wiping out the memories of the past. Republicans always say they are cutting taxes for the working class and add more taxes through consumption, highest healthcare costs and social security. Taxes are not being reduced or eliminated on Social Security. A tax credit will be given to people earning 75k or 150k for a couple that is only for two years. Taxes will still be paid if you have pension income plus social security. Medicare payments are being increased and taken from social security payments.
My mother was an independent and could not vote in Florida primaries as a result. In Virginia republicans can vote in democratic primaries affecting the outcome of our candidates. So much is wrong with the state voting rules in red states. We are in serious trouble if we don’t think outside the box as T and MAGA do. We need a very clever plan to stop this authoritarian regime from starving and weakening our poorest people. Corporations were getting their meager wage earners subsidized by food stamps, snap and Medicaid. Our people with lose healthcare for their elderly and disabled.
