It seems like Donald Trump is living in a delusional bubble because it turns out that he is living in a bubble where he is being protected from the truth that he is the most consistently unpopular president in the history of polling.
The bubble is created by Trump, who absolutely can’t handle any bad news or reality. Trump always has to be the most successful and popular president in history. This mentality is why Trump had to minimize the deaths of Americans in the Iran war while speaking to reporters on Friday.
Trump always has to be right, successful, and winning.

Republicans have seen what happens to people who confront Trump with reality. The president blows up and tries to destroy anyone in his party who doesn’t feed his delusions.
Republicans could have dumped Trump after the 1/6 attack on the Capitol. If they had cut him loose, the then-former president probably would have been prosecuted, and the country would never have heard from him again.
The Republican Party made its choice, and now it is trapped with an unpopular president who is going to cost them in November.
