They are in the majority in both houses and have the Clown King on their side, but what they are offering only makes the richer and everyone else is left holding the bag.
The majority of the people in this country (and most other countries) believe little or nothing coming out of the mouths of trump and his band of criminals. The media has also shown what it is made of...all confidence with them is lost.
The National Media haven't played fair in years. Biden did great work in the White House but you never saw it congratulated in National Media. In fact I consider them sharing responsibility for the mess we are in.
I see some of the media taking baby steps to speak up about the great basic truth that Republicans control everything in government, therefore, to blame a shutdown on Democrats is total hypocrisy. PBS News hour anchors have been modestly blunt, and I've seen some posts from CBS. But overall, still total shills to their corporate overlords. And, I hate to say it, but as a 67 year old, I just don't see American journalists under fifty, with jobs in for-profit media, being very well-informed or trying very hard. If the information requires a little more "digging" for truth, it seems to wear them out. 15 years of Fox News propaganda and online click-bait seems to be hollowing out many in the profession.
I think SOME media will report the truth…R’s hold the trifecta so they are responsible for making an effort to compromise with Dems to keep the government open.
It is up to each one of us to seek out media that tells the truth. Fox cannot be trusted! Their inclusion of news film from 2020 riots in a recent airing of Portland news almost got Trump to send the military into Portland bc he saw the violence and burning on Fox TV! From FIVE YEARS ago!!
