Republican Senator Gets Booed After He Bolts From Town Hall When Asked About DOGE
Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) abruptly ended his town hall when his Republican constituents began pressing him on DOGE firing veterans, and his red state constituents booed him.

A constituent asked Sen. Marshall, “ What the government is doing right now as far as cutting out those jobs, a huge percentage of those people, and I don't even know if you care about the veterans. For veterans. And that is a damn shame. That is a damn shame.”
A second constituent added, “ Yes. I'm not a Democrat, but I'm worried about the veterans, man.”
Marshall, sensing the heat was on, replied by stammering, “ Alright, well I yielded to, um, one of my, my elders and I appreciate his comments. Um, I think it's a great, I'm not gonna, we don't have time for everyone to stand up. I do. Got two more commitments today. Appreciate everybody making the drive out and god bless America.”
