Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) whined after being booed off the stage during a visit to Plattsburgh, New York, accusing the protesters of politicizing an event, but they pointed out that she doesn’t hold town halls and is not available to them any other way.

Stefanik was booed off the stage twice during a renaming ceremony in Plattsburgh to honor the late John Zurlo. In fact, protesters made up more than half of the crowd and many were carrying anti-Stefanik signs according to MyNBC5. They yelled things at her like “You sold us out!”

Protesters yelled at her to hold a town hall, a job for which they pay her. They yelled this even when other people were speaking.

Stefanik later tried to shame them by smearing the entire “left”, which the pearl-clutching establishment media never seems to have a problem with. It’s perfectly fine to smear every person who is on the left in the entire country, but don’t you dare say call the right a ‘basket of deplorables’.

"It is a disgusting disgrace that this is what the far left does,” Stefanik tried later when talking to the media.

Stefanik posted on social media that this was “shameful conduct by radical Far Left Democrat agitators.”

But protester Mavis Agnew called Stefanik out for not doing her job, saying she has not shown up in their district for months. She won’t hold a town hall. She’s not in her office.

"Well, Elise has not shown up in our district for months and months. She won't hold a town hall, she won't take questions. She's never in her office. People show up at her office constantly, door's closed. Her representatives, her employees won't talk to her... So this was her first appearance, the first opportunity we had to let her know we're unhappy,” Agnew is quoted by MyNBC5 as saying.

And Agnew is not wrong. Five months ago her constituents addressed an empty chair with her photo on it at a Town Hall organized by Indivisible Indivisible ADK.

Stefanik’s dismissal of the “left” is actually a dismissal of her constituents, who are scared and angry about the cuts she supported in Trump’s OBBB.

Another protester named Jesse Murnane said the recent cuts are going to impact patients in the area.

"I don't think this is about Democrats versus Republicans or anything. We're all represented by Stefanik. We're all here represented by Stefanik. And with the recent cuts that have just been passed, we're all going to be affected by rural hospitals. Hudson Headwaters potentially being affected, our only clinics available to patients. That's important to me,” Murnane told MyNBC5.

Stefanik supported OBBB, which for example, cut SNAP with 22 million families losing some or all benefits. That’s children starving, but Stefanik thinks the most important issue is that people be silent about starving children when she dares to show her face in public.

Stefanik is trying to shame people for going to a public event to make their will known, but they wouldn’t have to do this at events like a renaming ceremony if Stefanik was doing her job.

Stefanik hides from the people and mostly shows up to partisan events full of Republicans, like this:
