Pressure Grows On Congress To Sponsor Resolution To Block Trump's War With Iran
Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) said that he is going to write every member of Congress to get them to sponsor his bipartisan resolution to block Trump from war with Iran.

After Trump bombed Iran, Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) called on all members of Congress to immediately return to the Capitol to take action on Trump’s new war.
Khanna posted on X:
This is a defining moment for the Democratic party. We need to stand against war with Iran. I am sending a Dear Colleague letter tonight asking every House member to sponsor my & RepThomasMassie WPR to stop this war.
The WPA resolution that Khanna was referring to is a War Powers Act resolution. Khanna has a Republican partner in his effort to limit Trump’s war powers. Rep. Thomas Massie, the conservative Republican from Kentucky, has joined with Khanna on the resolution.
Khanna called on Congress to come back into session on Monday to vote, “Stopping Iran from having a nuclear bomb is a top priority, but dragging the U.S. into another Middle East war is not the solution. …
