Pete Hegseth Orders Makeup Studio at Pentagon

As an expert says it looks like Signalgates broke the law, Pete Hegseth ordered a makeup studio at the Pentagon for his Fox News live hits.

Makeup seems to be a bonding point among the “alpha” males in the Trump administration, and so it’s little surprise that former Fox News anchor and now embattled Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has ordered a makeup studio to be installed at the Pentagon.

Don’t worry, though, he — like Trump with his bronzer — does his own makeup.

“Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth recently ordered modifications to a room next to the Pentagon press briefing room to retrofit it with a makeup studio that can be used to prepare for television appearances, multiple sources told CBS News,” CBS News reported. “The price tag for the project was several thousand dollars, according to two of the sources, at a time when the administration is searching for cost-cutting measures.”

Of course, that price tag is also a reliable narrative question, as a source also told CBS that it was initially “estimated to cost more than $40,000, but the ideas were scaled back.”

So, somewhere between. $40,000 and several thousand dollars so Hegseth can look good on Fox “News.”
