Pennsylvania Democrats Really Want John Fetterman Gone

Not since the days of Kyrsten Sinema has there been a senator whom their party wants to get rid of as badly as Pennsylvania Democrats want Sen. John Fetterman gone.

As a Pennsylvanian, I can report that when Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) started his shift toward the Republican Party, the initial question was based on concern and confusion. What is wrong with Fetterman was regularly asked.

My theory has always been that Fetterman freaked out after Trump won Pennsylvania in 2024. Fetterman kept talking about how the country and the Keystone State had moved to the right.

In other words, John Fetterman took the wrong lesson from Trump’s win in Pennsylvania. Fetterman has been moving himself to the right and trying to break away from the Democratic Party.

Fetterman is up for reelection in 2028, and in April, Punchbowl News could not find a single Pennsylvania House Democrat who would say when asked that Fetterman should run for reelection.

It is more than congressional Democrats from the state who have had enough of Sen. Fetterman.

The confusion over Fetterman has turned to anger, as Democrats in the state have stopped asking about Fetterman and instead say F- Fetterman.

That anger was reflected in a new poll that showed some bad numbers for the Pennsylvania senator.
