Pennsylvania Democrats Are Done With John Fetterman
Challengers are lining up to primary Sen. John Fetterman, as it looks like Pennsylvania Democrats have had enough.
Talk to Democratic voters in Pennsylvania, and the one word that constantly comes up to describe their feelings about Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) is disappointing.
Fetterman built his political support first in the western part of the state, a straight-talking, unapologetic, grounded progressive, or at least that is what the brand appeared to be.

Fetterman was elected Lt. Governor, and then ran for US Senate in a wild election against Dr. Oz that featured the Democratic candidate coming back from a stroke, but after winning the election, Fetterman experienced mental health challenges, including depression, which some experts have said is not uncommon for people who are recovering from strokes.
However, when Fetterman seemed to take all of the wrong lessons away from the 2024 presidential election and shift to the right, it was then that Democrats in the state really started to have a problem with the senator.
Since Trump returned to the White House, Fetterman has seemingly spent more time on Fox News than holding town halls with Democratic constituents.
Fetterman has become the new Joe Manchin or Kyrsten Sinema, including his recent deciding vote to advance Trump’s nominee to head DHS, Markwayne Mullin’s nomination out of committee.”
State Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta replied to Fetterman’s vote with a one-word statement, “Shameful.”
Democrats have had enough of Fetterman, and a line is forming to challenge him in the primary.
