Minneapolis Defeats Trump As ICE Flees

Minneapolis has done it. They have outlasted Trump as Tom Homan announced that ICE's operations would be coming to an end in Minneapolis.

It isn’t a coincidence that after Democrats turned down the White House’s offer to fund the Department of Homeland Security, Border Czar Tom Homan announced that ICE would be ending its surge operation in Minneapolis, MN.

Homan said he proposed that ICE get out of Minnesota, and Trump agreed.

It was Homan added that made it clear that America’s ICE problem is far from done, “We have a lot of work to do across this country to remove public safety risk, who shouldn’t even be in this country. And to deliver on President Trump’s promise for strong border security and mass deportation, law enforcement officers drawn down from this surge operation will either return to the duty station or be assigned elsewhere to achieve just that.”

Here is my video explaining ICE leaving Minneapolis and what it means for funding ICE:

The United States has seen this movie before. Trump invaded Los Angeles and Chicago and ended up leaving in defeat. The difference is that Los Angeles and Chicago are two of the three biggest cities in the country.

Minneapolis is the 45th or 46th-largest city in the country. The Minneapolis metro area is much larger, but it is only ranked between 16 and 18 in size.

A city the size of Minneapolis turning back Trump is impressive, but it is also a tribute to the will of Minnesota's people.
