Mike Johnson Humiliates Himself Pushing Trump's California Rigged Election Lie
Speaker of the House, Rep. Mike Johnson (R-LA) is an attorney, but that didn't stop him from supporting Trump's baseless California rigged election lie.
Trump’s outburst over Republicans losing a primary election in one of the most Democratic states in the country is absurd, but it also feels like a dry run for November and all of the lies that Trump and Republicans are going to spread after they lose the midterm election.

Trump started claiming that the California election was rigged in a taped interview with Meet The Press. The interview was taped on Friday, but Trump was already crying rigged election before his endorsed Los Angeles mayoral candidate, Spencer Pratt, had lost the open primary.
Trump posted on his social media platform:
Not possible for Spencer Pratt to have lost the L.A. runoffs after the big lead he had. 3rd World Nation. Rigged Elections! Now they’ll be working on great guy Steve Hilton. Won’t have results for, possibly, TWO WEEKS, according to officials. President DJT
Pratt’s slide was expected because his position in second place was built on the Republican Election Day vote in Los Angeles. The mail-in ballots are heavily Democratic and were expected to knock Pratt out of the running to make the November election.
Only in Donald Trump’s broken mind was any of this a surprise.
If there was any hope for the Republican Party, other Republican officials should have rejected Trump’s claims, but that is not what Speaker Mike Johnson did.
