Mike Johnson Feels Threatened by Portland's Emergency Naked Bike Ride
Speaker Mike Johnson feels threatened by naked bike riders protesting ICE in Portland. The man who needs an app to monitor his porn addiction is threatened by naked bike riders.
Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) said “(T)he most threatening thing I’ve seen yet was the naked bicyclers in Portland who were protesting ICE down there. I mean, it’s getting really ugly.”
Mike Johnson feels terrified by naked bike riders. He wants us to believe that a man who needs to share a porn accountability app called “Covenant Eyes” with his son is threatened by naked bike riders.
Johnson feels threatened by Portland’s Emergency Naked Bike Ride for humanity, in protest of ICE, during which people bared their souls and showed their vulnerability in the face of brutality, for the sake of their community.
Johnson says he finds this “threatening.”
They danced and had fun and hugged. Snipers kept their weapons trained on the naked people from rooftops. But Johnson says he is threatened by naked bike riders.

Johnson is trying to paint the peaceful protest as dangerous, but Portland police “made no arrests outside the ICE facility Sunday. Federal agents detained at least one person — a clarinetist with a protest band who has been held in Clark County jail, where a roster listed no charges Tuesday,” Oregon Live reported on Tuesday.
In fact, federal agents have only arrested “about 30 people outside the Portland ICE facility since June, including about 15 people who have been accused of assaulting or attempting to assault federal officers,” according to Oregon Live. And those charges include “allegations of spitting, punching, shoving, throwing a water bottle and kicking tear gas canisters toward federal agents who had deployed them.”
Johnson’s feelings truly sound like a very personal problem. The actual people being threatened are the people being kidnapped off the streets without a warrant and the protesters using their First Amendment with rifles trained on them and thugs ready to beat them up for not agreeing with Don Trump.
Johnson said this as he tried to justify the Republican Trump shutdown. Republicans refuse to reopen the government until they have changed the rules so that the Obamacare subsidies can’t be saved for the tens of thousands of people who will die due to Republicans’ attack on healthcare.
Johnson is out here whining about people on bikes as he steals their healthcare and breaks the rules of the US House to make sure none of his own members can help the American people before he changes the rules.
The Emergency Naked Bike Ride that Scares Mike Johnson
Performative, theatrical action plays a big role in fighting off authoritarianism. Before Trump returned to the White House, we talked here about how other countries used creativity and music to protest peacefully, and now Portland has given us the Emergency Naked Bike Ride.
