If I close my eyes, I can still smell the pine. The tree was always placed in front of the sliding glass doors, and without fail, there would always be a picturesque backdrop of snow. It is funny how when we are children, snow is a beautiful thing, a toy to be enjoyed, and the reason for a joyous unexpected day off of school, but as adults, snow is much less of a happy experience and more of an obstacle that must be overcome in daily life.
