Minnesota Governor Tim Walz emanates authenticity; he’s the direct opposite of JD Vance. He’s got that Midwestern upfront vibe, meaning he’ll connect with voters in critical swing states like Michigan and Pennsylvania. He’s became a Command Sergeant Major in the Army National Guard, who served for 24 years and he’s a fierce advocate for freedom. He’s also just a really down to earth guy. The kind of guy our nation’s kids can look up to, which makes sense because he’s also a former teacher.

Walz is the guy who pronounced the Republican ticket of felon and rapist Donald Trump and women-should-stay-married-even-if they’re-going-to-be-murdered-by-their-husband JD Vance “weird.”

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz said, “You know there's something wrong with people when they talk about freedom: freedom to be in your bedroom, freedom to be in your exam room, freedom to tell your kids what they can read. That stuff is weird.”

Walz, who is also the co-chair of the DNC rules committee, has a successful track record on issues progressives and Democrats care about.

“Some of the policies Walz signed into law in Minnesota: -Universal school meals -Stronger labor protections -Cannabis legalization -Stronger LGBTQ+ protections -paid leave/sick -100% clean energy by 2030 -repro rights -$1B for housing -gun safety -cut child poverty 1/3,” former senior advisor to Senator Bernie Sanders Jeremy Slevin shared.

The Minnesotan really captured attention during the White Dudes for Kamala call (yes, everyone is having a call! Last night Comics for Kamala had a call), in which he was a positive force but also a fierce advocate for freedoms, where he also shared that he and his wife got pregnant using IVF, which Trump/Vance refuse to protect in their anti-reproductive freedom tirade. He’s from a small town, where he says unlike JD Vance, they know to mind their own business. Walz also pointed out that our NATO allies need us to step up and elect Kamala Harris.
