Mainstream Media Gets What It Deserves After Bending The Knee To Trump

The corporations that own the mainstream media thought that they could appease Trump by firing Democrats and paying him off, but now Trump is trying to destroy them.

After Trump won the 2024 election, corporate-owned mainstream media began bending the knee. They essentially paid Trump by agreeing to settlements for defamation lawsuits that he brought, which experts called frivolous. Mainstream outlets hired more Trump loyalists and got rid of progressives and Trump critics as CNN did with Jim Acosta.

The corporate media tilted their election coverage to benefit Trump because they thought that mainstream media would make big money with a second Trump term. They believed that by not resisting, Trump would give them an environment that would allow them to consolidate even more control over the press.

Instead, the opposite has happened.
