Imagine a MAGA from Africa in the U.S. on an overstayed visa while championing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and writing for reactive, radical “conservative” organizations like The Daily Wire and Turning Point USA.

You’re no doubt picturing a leopard eating his face, and you are not wrong.

Meet Samuel Sey, a 39-year-old hardcore MAGA supporter who believes anti-ICE activists are doing the devil’s work. Sam is not a US citizen. He has a great smile and he and his wife look very happy in this photo:

Sam enjoyed lecturing folks that if they love America, they should support ICE:

So Sam believes that to love America is to support ICE’s anti-American attacks on constitutional rights, civil liberties and human rights.

Sam thinks that Americans should just stop caring about Fourth Amendment rights, unwarranted home entries, wrongful detentions, and due process. Sam thinks that caring about those rights is the work of the devil.

Loving America might actually imply that one not support the mistreatment of detained people, which makes a problem for Sam’s argument. After all, ICE critics take issue with the fact that facilities overseen or contracted by ICE face ongoing criticism for substandard medical care, safety failures, and mistreatment of detainees. Anti-ICE activists are also concerned with families that are being torn apart by Trump’s ICE raids.

What kind of movement would suggest that caring about liberty, freedom, and other human beings is the work of the devil?

MAGA.

Detained

The Ghanaian-born writer and political commentator overstayed his visa and is now in custody to be deported.

It turns out, Sey overstayed his visa by four years, according to the Department of Homeland Security. Sey originally entered the U.S. from Trump’s imagined enemy, Canada.
