MAGA: Making Abuse Great Again
‘He’s a Great Guy’: Trump-endorsed Republican Rep. Max Miller has been accused AGAIN of domestic violence by a different woman, and once again he’s suing for defamation.
“He’s a Great Guy.”
Max Miller, Trump’s once-favored aide and now a MAGA-endorsed U.S. Representative, has a history of alleged abuse towards women, including pushing and slapping his ex-girlfriend, former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham, and, most recently, burning and bruising his ex-wife Emily Moreno.

Yes, “great guy” Max Miller (R-OH) has now been accused of domestic violence by a different woman, and once again he’s suing for defamation.
Trump’s “Incredible Patriot” and “Great Guy”
“An incredible patriot,” Trump said of Miller, “who I know very well.”
Bear in mind, Trump has also been described as best friends with Jeffrey Epstein, so perhaps these words of endorsement might better be seen as a warning. But that logic would only apply to those outside the MAGA cult. Inside the cult, they might as well be encrusted in faux gold and sold as a very expensive phone to his gullible base.
On May 14th it was reported that Miller filed a defamation lawsuit in Cleveland against his ex-wife, Emily Moreno, the daughter of Ohio Republican Senator Bernie Moreno, seeking an excess of $25,000 in “damages” over her accusations of domestic violence.
He claims that her accusations will hurt him in his re-election campaign this fall, as if being branded a rapist or abuser is not a highly-sought credential for MAGA voters. If I were her lawyers, I might point out that his biggest endorsement comes from a man found liable for rape by a jury of his peers and whose ex-wife accused him of a violent rape in her book, and she only took that accusation back when he was running for president.
Is it not an accomplishment for MAGA to be seen as a violent predator who dominates their prey? Isn’t this why they pose their children with machine guns in front of their Christmas trees?
And also, this isn’t his first go around with being accused of being violent, and yet he got re-elected. For a reputation to be damaged, it seems to follow it must first be better than the accusation lowers it to.
Recently, a Daily Mail report on Emily Moreno’s accusations was published and it included pictures. A few snippets:
The most recent attack came on February 1 of this year when Miller allegedly grabbed and struck Emily, 32, during a custody exchange at his Ohio home, leaving bruises on her arm, elbow, and torso as the couple’s two-year-old daughter Ruth looked on.
An earlier incident on June 9, 2024 involved the Congressman allegedly hurling a pot of boiling water at Emily during an argument inside their Ohio home, with some of the water striking her chest, while their then eight-month-old daughter was present, multiple sources with direct knowledge said.
That report also included what appeared to be an apology letter from Miller, but he didn’t specify what he was apologizing for.
There is now an open investigation into the allegations of abuse against Miller’s child. Miller’s lawyer provided a letter saying the findings of suspected child endangerment were “unsubstantiated.”
This is all happening during a custody battle, and so skepticism is fair.
But so is Miller’s history.
Max Miller’s History
Miller also sued Grisham for defamation even though a Politico report cited three people familiar with the matter who said Miller allegedly “pushed [Grisham] against a wall and slapped her in the face in his Washington apartment” in 2020.
Miller denied the accusation.
Grisham and Miller came to an agreement in 2023. And perhaps having learned that weaponizing the court system against his alleged victims is very effective, Miller is now suing Moreno for defamation as well.
