It Is Bond Deadline Day For Donald Trump
While Trump is sitting at a defense table in Manhattan during a hearing on the criminal hush money/election interference case, New York Attorney General Letitia James is getting ready to seize Trump’s properties and assets to satisfy a $454 million fraud judgment against the former president, his adult sons Don Jr. and Eric, and Trump Organization.
Contrary to what some might think, the process for seizing Trump’s properties is not fast or easy. The state of New York is going to have to get in line with other creditors. There are questions about what Trump actually owns, and if he owns much of anything outright.
The legal process to get Trump’s properties seized could take months or years, but there is something else that AG James can do immediately that would immensely damage Trump, and we’ll talk about that below.
