After claiming that he would lower prices and inflation during the campaign, Trump admitted that he was dropping the idea because fighting inflation was too hard and he had no interest in it.
Before he won the election, Trump mentioned prices and inflation in nearly every speech. When he came into the White House, Trump declared inflation and high prices solved and moved on.
The reason why the protests against this administration have grown exponentially since Trump returned to the White House is that the administration is not listening to the people, some of whom voted for Trump and gave him a mandate to lower prices and fight inflation.
Trump claims he has a mandate to unleash ICE and the US military on America’s cities and carry out a deportation campaign where nearly two-thirds of the people being deported have not committed a crime.
Donald Trump is also trying to create a physical legacy by destroying the East Wing of the White House to build a ballroom.
Trump threw a tantrum on Wednesday when he was asked about his lack of transparency on the ballroom project, but that was only the tip of the iceberg, as White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt made it very clear where this administration stands on Thursday.
