Karoline Leavitt Melts Down And Accuses UN Of Intentionally Stopping The Escalators On Trump

Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt demanded an investigation into whether the UN intentionally stopped the escalators on Trump.

The Trump White House might be the most conspiracy-laden in American history, but even for this bunch, what Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt managed to get outraged about was laughable.

Donald Trump and a woman who was suspected of being his rarely seen with him wife got on the escalator at the UN, and the escalator stopped working.

It happens to almost everyone, but according to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, the escalator was a plot to get Trump:

If someone at the UN intentionally stopped the escalator as the President and First Lady were stepping on, they need to be fired and investigated immediately. The Times reported this on Sunday

Right-wing paper, The Times (UK) wrote:

The Sunday Times reported that figures inside the UN had been overheard “joking” before the event about stunts they could pull to highlight the funding shortage faced by the organisation because the Trump administration was withholding cash.

One idea doing the rounds was to turn off the escalators and lifts and simply tell Trump they ran out of money, so he had to walk up the stairs.

My favorite part of the video is that “Melania Trump” keeps on walking up the steps and leaves her husband with his cankles and barely working veins to lumber up the steps on his own.

It turns out that it wasn’t a conspiracy, but one of Trump’s own people who tripped the escalators.

The AP’s Farnoush Amiri posted on X:

A U.N. official said the UN understands that someone from the president’s party who ran ahead of him inadvertently triggered the stop mechanism on the escalator. The official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the White House was operating the teleprompter for Trump.

There is virtually nothing on the planet that this administration won’t turn into a grievance or conspiracy.

All of the escalators stopped, not just Trump’s. This likely was a sign of a problem with the building rather than someone throwing a switch somewhere to “get Trump.”

Trump’s speech with a broken teleprompter was embarrassing enough as the world got a look inside his shattered mind, but somehow this White House has to make the United States look even worse with Escalator Gate.

The Trump White House still hasn’t released the Epstein files.

The Homan files also have not been released, so the American people don’t know if Trump’s border czar accepted a $50,000 bribe.

The White House would rather that the country focus on a broken escalator than the broken economy and the broken promises of Donald Trump.

The only thing escalating in this story is the absurdity of the Trump White House.
