Karoline Leavitt Just Gave A Disaster Of A Press Briefing
Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt tried to sell Trump's cave on Iran as Iran backing down, and claimed that the closing of the Strait of Hormuz was "fake news" in press briefing disaster.
The Trump administration, which consists of people who aren’t qualified for the jobs they hold but hold them because of their loyalty to Donald Trump, has proven time and again that it is not up to the task.
What task specifically?
Any task. Given this administration anything, and they will find a way to step on the rake and hit themselves in the face.

Remember, this administration was not put together with a goal of competence or expertise. This is not a team that was built to give a president the best advice in any situation.
The assumption is that Trump is smarter than anyone else, so his administration has been built to carry out his orders.
The cracks in this plan become apparent when Donald Trump, who is a fountain of bad ideas and broken thinking, goes down the path that will lead to failure, and there is no one there to stop him.
In fact, the job of this administration is to spin Trump’s overwhelming failures into successes.
That’s where we catch up with Karoline Leavitt on Wednesday, as the Press Secretary was trying to explain that Trump’s Iran failure wasn’t really a failure.
Leavitt was asked if the world should take Trump’s word seriously, and she answered:
The world should take his word very seriously in understanding that the president is always most interested in results, and it was the Iranians who backed down, not President Trump. He said that they would face very grave consequences, as you just laid out by the 8:00 PM deadline, if they did not agree to reopening the Strait of Hormuz. And what did they do last night? They agreed to reopen the strait.

Leavitt’s description is not what actually happened, but she was just getting started.
