On MSNBC, former RNC Chair Michael Steele laid it out for Democrats:

I don't know how complicated you wanna make this but don't, ok, run the race, just run the damn race. You've got a president who's laid out the narrative, use it, talk about, you know, shovel-ready jobs. That's the reality. Shovel, ready jobs. That's infrastructure, job creation, lowering inflation, gas prices coming down. You got the narrative and in red Kentucky, guess what, the Democrat who was supposed to have been ousted, that was supposed to have been like, ok, well, we, we're done with him now. We return to MAGA. They said no in Ohio. Red Ohio, right? What had happened on abortion citizens that would include Republicans said no. So the reality of it is there's a new landscape that's being shaped.
