JD Vance's Biggest Supporter is All Over the Epstein Files
JD Vance is next in line to the presidency, and his biggest champion is Peter Thiel, who is all over the Epstein files.
The man next in line to the presidency was championed for that very position by Peter Thiel, who is all over the Epstein files.
The latest batch of more than three million documents released from the Department of Justice reveals the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s connections with some of the biggest names in tech, including Peter Thiel.
In fact, Donald Trump’s Vice President JD Vance, he of misappropriated hillbilly fame, has been championed his entire adult life by Peter Thiel.
Billionaire Peter Thiel has been a long-term supporter of JD Vance’s political rise, and helped to put him where he is today. They met in 2011 at Yale Law School and then Vance worked for Thiel at Mithril Capital, a venture capital firm. Thiel mentored Vance and bankrolled his 2022 Ohio Senate campaign with $15 million, establishing deep financial and ideological connections that helped propel Vance to the vice presidency.

In fact, and this is the crucial takeaway, the same right-wing tech bros who “orchestrated” Vance’s rise in Silicon Valley and then the Republican Party stand to gain if he won in 2024:
In the weeks before former president Donald Trump announced his vice-presidential pick, some of tech’s biggest names launched a quiet campaign to push for one of their own: Ohio Sen. JD Vance.
The former president fielded repeated calls from tech entrepreneur David Sacks, Palantir adviser Jacob Helberg and billionaire venture capitalist Peter Thiel, Vance’s former employer and mentor, imploring him to add the onetime Silicon Valley investor to the ticket, according to three people familiar with the entreaties, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe the private conversations.
…
They see Vance as their emissary in Washington, spreading a doctrine that government and entrenched corporate giants from Google to Lockheed Martin stifle innovation, while nimble, bold-thinking start-ups — especially their own — can propel the national interest
This is far from some chalkboard conspiracy. They themselves see Vance as their “emissary.” So Vance can be seen as an emissary for the elite financial dealings that often included Jeffrey Epstein.
Peter Thiel and Jeffrey Epstein
The documents show us that in the early to mid-2010s, Epstein was working to cultivate relationships with big names in tech, revealing his connections with tech leaders like Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Reid Hoffman, Peter Thiel, Mark Zuckerberg, and Jeff Bezos.
For example, Epstein invested $3 million in Coinbase in 2014 and millions more into Peter Thiel’s funds. Files released by the House Oversight Committee in November 2025 also showed Epstein invited Thiel to visit him in “the Caribbean.”
A Thiel representative denied that he visited Epstein’s infamous private island. Emails show Musk inquired about visiting Epstein’s island in 2012-2013.
But the money is clearly intertwined.
