JB Pritzker Is Looking At Prosecuting ICE Agents

Gov. JB Pritzker had a message for any ICE agents who are abusing their power in Illinois. Someday, the tables will turn, and they will be prosecuted.

Just because the Supreme Court majority decided that basically, Trump is above the law while he is in office, many people working in his administration also seem to act like they are above the law, but this is not true.

The Supreme Court’s ruling only applies to Donald Trump, and presidential pardons do not grant immunity from state and local prosecutions.

It has been a recurring theme in Trump’s adult life that other people get punished for his actions.

Some of the people working for ICE right now might feel like they are above the law, but Gov. JB Pritzker has a message for them.

During an interview with Fox32 Chicago, Pritzker was asked to comment on some of the violent incidents attributed to ICE in the city.

Gov. Pritzker said:

  It’s very disturbing what’s happening. They’re overstepping the boundaries of their authority, ICE and CBP I also would say that I think you should pay close attention to the fact that they’re getting filmed in all of these circumstances, which is very helpful because it helps us to go to court and get some limitations.

You saw that we won in court, not just the TRO, but also about the behavior and actions, and whether they’re ICE must identify themselves in these circumstances.

We’re winning slowly but surely as the evidence is coming in, but I have to say, it is abominable, the unconstitutional actions that are taking place. And here’s the most tragic part, usually the Inspectors General of the United States, the ones who work in the departments, like the Department of Homeland Security, when something goes wrong, when they, when an agent does something wrong.
