Jamie Raskin Slays The Trump Administration With The Perfect Description Of What They Are
House Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) described the Trump administration as a mixture of pathological lying and total incompetence.
The one thing that the American people have always been able to count on from any Trump administration is incompetence. They do plenty of damage to the country in their current state, but imagine what could happen to the United States and the American people if the Trump administration were competent.
Many of the fears that some people had when Trump was elected to return to the White House were based on the notion of a far-right, ideologically driven second Trump administration.

To be fair, the Trump team was pushing the story to the press that the incoming president had learned from his first term and was going to be more effective with his second bite of the apple.
That hasn’t happened.
Trump 2.0 has been far-right. It has also been ideologically motivated, but it has been even worse at governing than Trump’s first four years.
Trump’s slush fund for insurrectionists is dead at the moment, but Trump is making it clear that he wants it revived.
Trump said during an interview on Meet The Press about the fund:
So me, personally, I think the weaponization fund is a great idea, and so do many other Republicans. You have to get it approved. If they get it approved, that’s great. If they don’t get it approved, I’d be disappointed.
