House Republicans Hold Bizarre Hearing To Blame The Government For Working

The House COVID response subcommittee brought American Federation of Teachers (AFT) President Randi Weingarten in to testify about how the AFT advised the CDC on policies related to COVID school closures.

Jamie Raskin, who is the ranking member of the House Oversight Committee pointed out how weird the hearing was, “I've been to some weird hearings in this Congress, but this one might be the weirdest because it's convened to accuse a federal agency of the crime of consulting with American citizens."
