The Trump administration never seems to learn its lesson. The administration made Talarico more popular when they got CBS to not air an interview with the candidate and Stephen Colbert, but less than two months before the midterm election, with Talarico leading in the polls, the administration is again trying to silence the Democratic candidate.
Talarico is doing an interview with Jimmy Kimmel that the ABC late-night host said the network is refusing to air due to pressure from the FCC.
State Sen. Talarico has been making the interview rounds and he was asked by Symone Sanders Townsend on MS NOW’s The Weeknight about the Kimmel interview.

SYMONE SANDERS TOWNSEND : I think you’ve got a busy day today. You’re going to California, you’re doing a couple things. Jimmy Kimmel’s show is one of those things. He announced last night that he’s interviewing you tonight, but ABC won’t broadcast the interview. Now he says that it’s because of pressure from the FCC. What did your campaign know about this? When did you find out?
REP. JAMES TALARICO: We found out about this very recently, and I guess we’ll see what happens tonight. But government censorship should be a concern to all of us, regardless of our political party.
