Inherent Contempt Charges Are Being Prepared Against Attorney General Pam Bondi
Reps. Ro Khanna (D-CA) and Thomas Massie (R-KY) said on Sunday morning that they are preparing inherent contempt charges against AG Pam Bondi for not complying with the Epstein files release law.
Reps. Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie are not going to step aside and allow the Trump administration to break the law and not release the full Epstein files as required.
Khanna and Massie have previously suggested that any DOJ official who blocks the release of the files could face impeachment.
Attorney General Pam Bondi has come under scrutiny for her lack of compliance with the law. The Trump administration has shown zero in protecting Epstein survivors. For example, they have outed the identities of more Epstein survivors than rich and powerful perpetrators with their illegal document dump.

On CBS’s Face The Nation, Rep. Massie said that the DOJ is flouting the law:
They’re flouting the spirit and the letter of the law.
It’s very troubling the posture that they’ve taken, and I won’t be satisfied until the survivors are satisfied. You know, I said in the hours leading up to this release that we will know if they are complying, if they implicate any of the other criminals that are involved and the suspects that are involved.
The witnesses to this, the victims themselves, have given to the FBI, and they’ve never been mentioned.
If the DOJ is brazenly breaking the law to protect Donald Trump and/or his powerful friends and donors, there is a great deal that can be done.
It looks like Khanna and Massie are going to target AG Pam Bondi to turn up the heat to get the complete files released.
