If The Government Shuts Down, Republicans Will Keep Getting Paid But the Military Won't
The people orchestrating the government shutdown will not be financially harmed by it personally; unlike our military and other federal employees.

Tick tock. September 30th at midnight is the deadline.
Speaker Kevin McCarthy can’t even get a stopgap measure over the line in the House and so we are headed straight for a shutdown by the end of this week. Also known as GOP FAILURE TO DO THE JOB.
But guess what is not under threat of ceasing? The paychecks to these same Republican members of the House. Yes, that’s right.
CNN’s Jim Acosta called out Republican Congressman Ralph Norman of South Carolina, who serves on the House Budget and Financial Services Committees and is a member of the House Freedom Caucus, for this very discrepancy on his show. Norman didn’t have a good answer for why he would still be getting paid while advocating for a shutdown that means others won’t be paid.
