If Kevin McCarthy Impeaches Biden, Republicans Will Lose Everything

Kevin McCarthy Is Making Noise About A Biden Impeachment Investigation

The chatter started when Speaker McCarthy was on Hannity on Monday night and said:

When Biden was running for office, he told the public he has never talked about business. He said his family has never received a dollar from China, which we prove is not true. We have credible whistle-blowers who have come forward, said the Biden family has been treated differently, that what has been told to us is different than what has been told to the public and you are sitting here where you have millions of foreign money with the 1023 alleges what they did to his family now we found that it has funneled through shell companies. Sitting in our position, we wouldn’t know none of this if Republicans hadn’t taken the majority. This is rising to the level of an impeachment inquiry. It provides Congress the strongest power to get the rest of the knowledge and information needed. This president has also used something we haven’t seen since Richard Nixon. The weaponization of government to benefit his family and deny Congress the ability to have oversight.

Wow, that sounds really bad.

The problem is that nothing Kevin McCarthy said in the paragraph above was true.

Republicans don’t have any evidence that Biden received money from China. In fact, there is evidence that Biden received no money from China. The whistleblowers that McCarthy referred to are a mix of people on the payroll of Trump allies, convicted felons, and fugitives from justice.

There is no evidence that Biden has weaponized the government, or prevented Republicans from investigating anything.

House Republicans are trying to use Hunter Biden to impeach Joe Biden, and in the process, they are making the Ken Starr investigation of Bill Clinton look competent.

Ok, so House Republicans have no evidence, but they are going to impeach Joe Biden based on Russian misinformation delivered to them by Four Seasons Landscaping carrier pigeon Rudy Giuliani.

However, Kevin McCarthy keeps stopping short of saying that House Republicans are going to impeach Joe Biden. The Speaker keeps promising an impeachment investigation. An impeachment investigation is not an impeachment vote, but for our purposes, let’s assume that the far-right authoritarian wannabes take the training wheels off and drive the House GOP clown car off of the impeachment cliff.
