I’m sure you’ll be shocked to learn that once again, ICE appears to have lied about why they engaged in unprovoked, unjustified and unwarranted violence against United States citizens, including minors.

This time, they claimed the pepper spray was necessary to clear a path. But local station NBC4 obtained video footage and body cam evidence showing the incident, which contradicts ICE’s claim that the spray was used to clear a path.

A mother in Columbus, Ohio wants two ICE agents investigated after they deployed pepper spray through her rolled down car window at her and her three children after a family shopping trip.

Local police closed the case and ICE lied about the reason they deployed the pepper spray.

But now, a local station has video proof that it didn’t go down as ICE claimed.

“Concerns have come up in cities stretching from Los Angeles to Minneapolis, and now questions are being raised here in Columbus, caught on camera, ICE agents deploying pepper spray into a car with a mother and three children inside, all US citizens. now, when we reached out to ICE to ask why, their answer did not match up with the video we obtained of the incident,” NBC 4 Investigates reported Thursday.

A video obtained by NBC for investigates shows the moments just before and during the incident in late December near Easton mall, The daughter of the woman driving yelled out her window warning others about ICE agents nearby, then a white Dodge Durango drives up next to them.

It hit everyone. I mean, it was clear across I have pictures of inside the vehicle. It’s everywhere. Here’s that moment again.

They (ICE) didn’t have their lights on or anything until after they pepper sprayed us to get out of traffic, the Durango then turned on its police lights and drove away… NBC four investigates obtained the body camera footage of the Columbus police officer who responded to the family’s 911, call. They drove to a nearby fire station for help.

So, ICE agents used pepper spray on a US citizen mother and her three US citizen children, who are girls age 18, 15 and 11, as they were inside their moving vehicle after a shopping trip on December 21, 2025. Video shows the mother in her car with three girls and it shows the 18-year-old warning people in another car in Spanish that ICE was nearby.
