Joe Biden Gets More Aggressive

When Biden campaigned for the presidency in 2020, he expressed the belief that the Republican Party would someday emerge from its Trump fever dream and return back to being a functional conservative party instead of a cult that worships at the knee of a D-list reality TV star.

To an extent, the President was correct. Congress has passed and this president has signed into law more bipartisan legislation than the country has seen in a generation.

The bipartisan legislative success is big deal and needs to be discussed more.

However, the Trump cult still remains, so President Biden got aggressive.

Biden Calls Out Trump Cultists By Name Because Republicans Won’t

The White House explained why Biden is calling Trump cultists out by name. White House spokesman Andrew Bates said, “As the President has repeatedly said, leaders have an obligation to denounce the hardcore, ultra MAGA agenda with which so many Republican officials in national roles have aligned themselves.”

It is a smart strategy by Biden that has less to do with the 2024 election and is really about dealing with anti-democracy extremism, as we’ll discuss below.
