The very first legislative priority of House Republicans was to help rich people cheat on their taxes and add to the deficit after they fraudulently claimed to care about fiscal health.

The Party Of Fiscal Conservatism Is Dead

Way back in the yesteryear known as 2022, House Republicans claimed that the root cause of inflation was President Biden and the Democratic-controlled Congress spending too much money.

The Republicans promised that if they were given back the House majority, they would deal with the nation’s debt and deficit. Since Republicans have a reputation for fiscal conservatism, this seems like a no-brainer.

However, House Republicans chose for their first major legislative act to pass a bill that will weaken IRS tax enforcement which will allow rich people to cheat on their taxes while blowing a $114 billion hole in the deficit.

The bill passed 221-210 and is already dead in the Senate.

The legislation is the opposite of fiscal conservatism and an act of fraud against the American people.
