Democrats may sometimes struggle with election messages and explaining their policies and ideas in a simple way, but one of the areas where Democrats excel is governing.

In contrast, House Republicans appoint people to committees who lack governing skills but are good at appealing to the far-right base.

Republicans put people like James Comer and Jim Jordan in high-level committee chair positions. On their best days, Comer and Jordan have been incompetent and, at worst, they have been an embarrassment to government oversight.
