Here Is Why Trump Is Trying To Takeover And Destroy CNN

Donald Trump admitted while speaking at the White House that he wants CNN sold to his allies the Ellisons, and the reason why has less to do with America than the world.

It would be easy to write off Donald Trump’s obsession with killing off CNN and turning it into right-wing propaganda as the ramblings of an aged man who overinflates the value of a network that has struggled in the United States for years.

Trump has been complaining for days about Warner Bros./Discovery making a deal with Netflix for HBO and Warner Bros. Studios, while WBD will spin off the cable networks, including CNN, into its own company.

Trump’s allies the Ellisons have taken over and wrecked CBS as a credible news organization, and they have plans to do the same if their get their hands on CNN.

Trump said when asked about CNN at the White House:

 I’m not involved in that. I, I will be probably involved, maybe involved in the decision. It depends. You have some good companies bidding on it. I think the people that have run CNN for the last long period of time are a disgrace. I think it’s imperative that CNN be sold because you certainly wouldn’t want to put, uh, people, uh, just leave those people with some money, good money and CNN so that, you know, they can spend even more money spreading poison. ‘cause it’s lies, it’s a disgrace. So I wouldn’t wanna see the same company end up with CNN, the same company with money, because right now they don’t have too much money, but they have value, I guess based on the bids got value.

But I think, uh, I think CNN should be sold because I think the people that are running CN right now, CNN right now, are either corrupt or incompetent. And that’ll be, that’ll be a factor in the decision making. ‘cause you know, we’ve got some, well in my, in my mind, but I, you know, I can be talked out of that by some very talented people, though we have antitrust people, but I just think that the people that have run CNN into the ground, by the way, nobody watches, very few people watch.

I don’t think they should be entrusted with running CNN any longer. So I think any deal should, it should be, uh, guaranteed and certain that CNN is part of it. Or sold separately. But I don’t think the people that are running that company right now and running CNN, which is a very dishonest, uh, group of people, I don’t think that should be allowed to continue.

I think CNN should be sold along with everything else.
