Harry and Meghan Proven Right after 6 Years of Press Hell
After six years of being dragged through hell by the press in an effort to protect other members of his family, Harry and Meghan have finally been proven right.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s problems really took off in 2019, culminating in the BBC airing a Newsnight interview with Emily Maitlis in which Andrew sought to explain his relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. He denied sexual allegations made by Virginia Giuffre, claiming he was at a PizzaExpress in Woking on the day in question and claiming she was wrong about him because he does not sweat.
The interview was a disaster and the royal family was in hot water.

A month and a half later, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down from the royal institution, and the press went after them like rabid dogs directed by people desperate for a distraction.
Six years of media hell followed, during which Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle Sussex were attacked relentlessly and vilified for the most inane things. The UK tabloids feasted on hate of the pair.
Cut to, Andrew is arrested and suddenly they can’t pivot so easily to Harry and Meghan to save the royal family and protect Andrew because the public has caught on and is asking questions about why they — media and royal family alike — were silent about Prince Andrew.
The Spare
But that won’t stop them from trying. In fact, the way the British media looked to Montecito, California after Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s arrest gave away the game.
They’ve been rooting around for a way to spin Andrew’s arrest. They can’t outright blame Prince Harry and Meghan Sussex for Andrew’s fate because the public is not allowing that rewrite to happen, so in lieu of that they’ve decided that the issue is being a “spare.”
