Happy Blue Year 2026: Republicans Trigger A Massive Healthcare Crisis

One of the biggest reasons 2026 looks like it will be a very blue year kicked off on New Year's Day, when Republicans triggered a healthcare crisis.

Republicans wished America a Happy New Year by making sure that the country knows that they are responsible for the rising health insurance premiums that tens of millions of people are now facing.

Republicans are reeling, and it would be great for them to have a president who was leading the charge and showing that he cares about the struggling and hurting American people.

Here is what Trump was doing to show the American people that he cares, according to CNN:

Trump has been ringing in the new year at Mar-a-Lago for north of two decades. Ticket prices spiked during his first term, hit the $1,000 mark a few years ago and now go for $1,450. That buys a prix-fixe meal and the chance of watching the most powerful man in the world eating it from behind a velvet rope.

Nothing says “I care” like a president who charges people thousands of dollars to watch him eat from behind a velvet rope.
