Jordan has promised to hold as many votes as it takes to wear down his opponents and become Speaker, but after his first failed vote, Rep. Jordan canceled plans for an evening vote and said that he would try again tomorrow as if giving the members of his conference who don’t think he is qualified and see him as an election denying insurrectionist will change their minds after a good night of sleep.
